Fablox is a robotic system developed by Tomasz Gdowski – CEO of Rexel Technologies – designed to automate and optimize the storage and dispensing of medications in pharmacies and pharmaceutical outlets.
The system addresses real challenges in the pharmaceutical market: growing product assortments, the need for high picking accuracy, time pressures, and the efficient use of back-office space.
Fablox uses an automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) that enables rapid and precise identification of medication packages and their delivery to dispensing stations. A key aspect of the solution is the integration of the mechanical layer with management software, which monitors product locations, batch and expiration data, and communicates with the pharmacy’s sales system.
The use of precise manipulators and optimized storage geometry maximizes available back-office space while maintaining high speed and operational stability.
